In 2024, I was an artisti-in-residence in the Synthetic Biology and Biosystems Control Lab, as part of ai2 Artistic Residency Program, organised by the Vice-Rectorate of Art, Science, Technology and Society.
I developed the project ‘Synthetic Symbiotic Tournament‘, in which I investigated the collective behaviour of genetically modified bacteria in the lab.
Westfälisches Institut für Bionik, Bocholt, Germany
Since 2021, I collaborate with scientist and Professor Tobias Seidl (Westfälisches Institut für Bionik, Bocholt, Germany), who helped me to develop the work ‘The nonlinear patterns of a Superorganism’.
We participated in a talk moderated by curator Lavinia Filippi, and hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute London, 2022.
