In 2024, I received a grant from the ai2 Artistic Residency Program, organised by the Vice-Rectorate of Art, Science, Technology and Society carry out research in their Synthetic Biology and Biosystems Control Lab.
I am developing the work ‘Synthetic Symbiosis Contest’, in which I investigate cooperative behaviour in microorganisms.

Since 2021, I collaborate with scientist and Professor Tobias Seidl (Westfälisches Institut für Bionik, Bocholt, Germany), who helped me to develop the work ‘The nonlinear patterns of a Superorganism’.
We participated in a talk moderated by curator Lavinia Filippi, and hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute London, 2022.
